The working principle of thermostatic water heater

Electric water heaters: electric water heaters are divided into quick heating type, instantaneous heating type and water storage type. Among them, the rapid heating and storage type electric water heaters still use the mixing valve to adjust the ratio of cold and hot water to adjust the bath temperature. The principle of reaching a constant temperature is: the water heater has a built-in stepper motor to test the water flow in the water inlet pipe and convert it into an electrical signal for input to the motherboard processor. There is a temperature sensor on the outlet pipe. The temperature results will also be input to the motherboard processor. After the processor calculates, it controls the heating tube and adjusts the heating power according to the result to achieve constant temperature water output.

Gas water heater: The thermostatic gas water heater adopts the principle of proportional valve type temperature control. There is a flow sensor in series in the pipeline. It converts the water flow into a corresponding electrical signal and inputs this signal to the controller. The controller adjusts the opening of the gas valve according to the strength or frequency of the input signal, so that the gas flow and the water flow are changed in proportion to achieve the purpose of constant temperature. When the water heater is working, the flow sensor can sense the size of the water flow and water pressure, and transmit the signal to the proportional valve, which controls the amount of fire discharge, and then controls the firepower and adjusts the water temperature.
